About Dr Hamssa Mansour
Dr Hamssa Mansour qualified in 1998 and went on to complete a Master’s in Conservative Dentistry before moving to London, where she gained a second Master’s in Special Care Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, UCL.
She founded Shirland Dental Practice on a simple belief: that visiting the dentist should be an enjoyable experience, free of fear or anxiety. She is certified by the Dental Phobia Foundation and has a famously gentle approach with nervous patients, many of whom had not seen a dentist for decades before they met her.
Hamssa is a certified Invisalign provider, and the practice has earned Invisalign Platinum status under her care. She also provides Six Month Smiles and has a particular interest in dentistry for children and adults with additional needs, especially children with Down’s syndrome.
Every year she volunteers at a special needs school in Baghdad, providing essential dentistry free of charge, and she is an active supporter of local charities here in West London.
