How much does Invisalign cost at Shirland?

How long does Invisalign take?
Simple cases can finish in as little as three to six months; most take nine to eighteen. You change aligners every one to two weeks and we see you every six to eight weeks.
Are the aligners really invisible?
Nearly. They are made of clear SmartTrack material and trimmed to your gum line, so even up close most people will not notice them.
Can I eat what I like?
Yes. You take the aligners out to eat and drink anything other than water, then brush and put them back. No food restrictions at all.
Does Invisalign hurt?
You may feel pressure for a day or two after each new set of aligners. It is a sign they are working and it fades quickly. There are no wires or brackets to rub.
How many hours a day do I wear them?
20 to 22 hours. Wearing them only at night will not move your teeth on schedule.
My teeth moved after braces years ago. Can Invisalign fix that?
Yes, relapse after previous braces is one of the most common and quickest things we treat with Invisalign.
Will I need retainers afterwards?
Yes, as with any orthodontic treatment. Removable retainers are included free with every Shirland Invisalign case.
What if I lose an aligner?
Let us know straight away. We will either move you to the next set, have you wear the previous one, or order a replacement.
Is Invisalign suitable for teenagers?
Yes. Invisalign Teen includes blue compliance indicators so parents can see the aligners are being worn enough.
